Detroit Auto Show My friend Bill and I attended the 2000 Detroit Auto Show. We had never been to an auto show before and, us being car enthusiasts, we really enjoyed the show. It was a huge marketing bonanza and it was exciting to see the work that went into each company's display. The concept vehicles and new models were amazing. Never before have I seen so many awesome vehicles under one roof. We had nice accomodations at the Marroit Renaissance Center about 5 blocks away. The 62nd floor was home to our two-room suite. The room looked out onto Downtown Detroit, the Detroit River, and Windsor, Canada.
