Hawai'i
- August 1999 This trip served as a kind of vacation within a vacation for me. I spent a month in Hawai'i with my parents. The trip serves as a time to visit my parents as well as a get away from the regular routine of my life. This was a particularly interesting visit. My parents, myself, and my visiting uncle embarked on a seven day excursion to the big island of Hawai'i and Maui. Before we left, we showed my uncle around O'ahu - the island my parents live on. Then we flew to The Big Island. We toured The Big Island for four days, seeing all the important sites. We gained a lot of knowledge on the history and events that led to the original Hawai'ians inhabiting the islands. The photos of The Big Island represent our four days of touring the island. Maui is best known as a place for relaxation. You'll notice there aren't any photos of Maui. I was heavily involved in the typical relaxation activities that take place in Maui. As a result, there are no photos of Maui. You'll have to visit Maui yourself.
